Summer time has arrived and so does the need to get the kiddos out of the house and cool off.

With summer officially kicking off, staying cool and keep busy seems like a priority for many of us. What better way to beat the heat and keep the fun going than be enjoying a splash pad of pool? In this guide, we’ve rounded up some of the best water spots in town, where you can take a dip, cool off, and have a blast all at once. Whether you’re looking to keep the kids entertained or simply enjoy some water therapy, these splash pads and pools are bound to give you all the splish-splash you need this summer. A.C. Williams Granite Creek Park

A.C. Williams Granite Creek Splash offers tons of fun to keep cool this summer. With a train depot theme, this splash pad offers a massive water tower feature and sprayers for the kids to run around and cool down. Located just next the splash pad are large grassy areas with lots of lush trees providing cooling shade for picnics.

Heritage Park Zoo

This water feature operates throughout the summer between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm daily (weather permitting). Bring your swim suits and get ready for some wild water fun! The experience is free, so don’t sweat the summer!

Prescott YMCA

The YMCA in Prescott offers a great indoor option for those who prefer to stay out of the sun. With a variety of programs like the YMCA Summer Camp Swin, Spring-Summer Parent-Tot, Lap Swim hours, and Open Rec/Family Swim time, there are lots of options for those who wish to dip their toes and more in the cool pool.

Located in the 9.5-acre Bob Edwards Park, the splash pad offers a great place to cool down with fun water features and lots of open play space. The splash pad is located right next to a ramada area allowing for some in-shade cooling for taking a break from the sun and splash!

Mountain Valley Pool & Splash Pad

Prescott Valley’s outdoor aquatic facility, Mountain Valley Splash is located at Mountain Valley Park and features a zero-depth entry pool and interactive Splash Pad. Mountain Valley Splash also features 6 lanes for lap swimming, a 75-foot spiral slide, shade structures, ground sprayers, water cannons, dump buckets, and soakers. Plus with a concession stand and picnic area, visitors can take a break to refuel and relax before hitting the water again.

The Chino Valley Aquatic Center is the only public swimming pool facility in Chino Valley and is owned and operated by the Town. It features a zero-depth entry pool with a mushroom fountain, 5 colorful tipping buckets and a bright red corkscrew slide!
